FLUSHING WATER OUT OF BRAKES

Now that we have gotten ambitius and tore the top of the motor apart, it is time to determine what it needed to get it back together.. time for a little inspection.

DR350S TESTS AND TEARDOWN

With years of the bike sitting I figured it best to start with some tests to ensure I know what the compression is and what I am starting with and then the tear down begins! Although there are a few things that I did not do perfectly in the right order, this would give you a good idea on the process if you needed to do it yourself on your DR350S.

USE THE RIGHT PLUGS!

Recently we tested the idea that you can use any plug that fits.. WRONG. We put in the E-3 plugs with testing that in mind and found it did not work they way we were told. In fact, it caused problems by buring out the ignition coils and we ended up having to replace them as well as putting the correct plugs back in within a year. We got off Cheap but simply put, just don’t do it!
